In just a few months, the federal government will no longer accept applications for health insurance waivers from businesses, corporations, or anyone else. The Truth About Insurance Waivers

There have been some rules that were created under the Affordable Care Act that are designed to protect consumers from some unfair practices that private insurance companies were doing. One of the new regulations defines the percentage of money from premiums that insurers must spend on health care of their customers. The Marade Must Purchase Insurance

A group called iMatter is planning on holding a “Marade” in Salt Lake City, Utah. The overall purpose of the Marade is to bring attention to the topic of climate change. The Utah Department of Transportation is requiring the group to purchase an insurance policy, that would cost at least $2,500, in order to hold the event. This could, potentially, force the Marade to change the location of the event, days before it is scheduled to be held.
