Today, June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court revealed its decision about the Affordable Care Act, (which some call “Obamacare”). Those who are upset by this decision are likely to spread misinformation about it. This blog has just the facts about what the Supreme Court decided today. Supreme Court Releases Audio from Wednesday’s Arguments

The historic case about the Affordable Care Act has now been heard by the Supreme Court. It will be quite some time before the Justices make rulings about it. The White House has released information from a report that shows that the Affordable Care Act has improved the health care system for millions of Americans. The release of this information is timely, considering that the Supreme Court is hearing arguments about the Affordable Care Act this week. Supreme Court Releases Audio of Second Day of Oral Arguments

Today, the Supreme Court heard two hours of oral arguments in the case about certain portions of the Affordable Care Act. They have released the audio of those arguments on the Supreme Court website. The focus of today’s arguments was about the individual mandate. This is the second part of a case called Department of Health and Human Services v. Florida. The plaintiffs for this case include 26 states, including: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
