Bachmann Introduces Bill to Repeal Affordable Care Act

The very first bill that was introduced to the brand new 113th Congress came from Representative Michele Bachmann. The purpose of the bill is to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The same type of bill was presented to the 112th Congress 33 times. None were voted into law. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was signed into law by President Obama on March 23, 2010. House of Representatives Voted to Repeal ACA – Again

Today, the House of Representatives has, once again, voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act. This is the thirty-third time that the House of Representatives has voted to repeal all, or portions of, the ACA. Nothing will change as a result of this vote unless the Senate also votes for it, and that is unlikely to happen. This pattern keeps repeating. House of Representatives Ready to Vote to Repeal – Again

It is no longer a surprise to learn that the House of Representatives is getting ready to vote about the Affordable Care Act, yet again. This has happened many, many, times before. No matter what the House decides, the bill would still have to be approved by the Senate before anything could change. Not every American is interested in politics. We are going to be hearing tons of news about the Affordable Care Act this week. March 23, 2012 is the second anniversary of the ACA. Next week, the Supreme Court will hear arguments about certain aspects of it. Many representatives are pointing out the benefits of the ACA. House of Representatives Votes to Repeal Part of the ACA

Today, March 23, 2012, is the official second anniversary of when the Affordable Care Act was signed by President Obama. Not everyone is celebrating, though. The House of Representatives voted this week to repeal a portion of the ACA. This week, the House of Representatives, which is Republican-led, voted to pass a bill to repeal a specific portion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
